How your generosity impacts patient care

By Stella Celentano

Your contribution to the Raising Hope at Workemployee giving campaign last summer contributed to the care of 3.7 million UF Health patients last year.

We go above and beyond to care for our patients through programs such as UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine, the Marshall M. and Paula P. Criser Jr. Cancer Resource Center, the Child Life Program and many others. Programs like these ensure patients feel safe and comfortable throughout treatment.

Thanks to your generosity, you and your colleagues possess the resources to promote health through innovation as well.

Earlier this year, we announced plans to better our patient care by launching Florida’s first fleet of specialized ambulances to improve stroke care. Housed in Gainesville, the new mobile stroke unit will be deployed this summer. The statewide network of mobile stroke units will speed up the diagnosis and treatment.

Because of your partnership, UF Health will continue to save lives through innovative, patient-centered care.

Thank you for your commitment.
