Phi Mu Fraternity and Phi Delta Epsilon — both national partners of Children’s Miracle Network — demonstrated that their commitment to the well‑being of young patients at children’s hospitals is unmatched.
Together, our local Greek chapters raised more than $78,000 in 2025 for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, bringing together hundreds of community members through their efforts.
Phi Mu has focused on fundraising and awareness for CMN member hospitals, including UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, since 1986. Three Phi Mu chapters at Valdosta State University, Florida State University and the University of Florida continue to support children’s health each year, with a combined lifetime impact of $561,758.77.
Last fall, the Kappa Beta Chapter at VSU hosted its “Pickle for a Purpose” pickleball tournament, as well as percentage night events at El Toreo, Everbowl, Texas Roadhouse and Sunrise Nutrition. Players, volunteers and sponsors rallied through an early rain delay to raise $1,727 for our children’s hospital.
The Alpha Epsilon Chapter at FSU held its fourth Phi Fest, drawing more than 600 members of the FSU and Tallahassee community to food trucks, local vendors and live music. The festivities raised over $10,000, bringing the chapter’s annual total to $26,899.01.
In partnership with Chi Phi Fraternity at UF, the Alpha Nu Chapter at UF hosted a heart‑warming “Waffles for Wishes” waffle bar last fall. With 813 donors contributing, the chapter raised $9,729, making its yearly total $23,324. The Alpha Nu Chapter also hit a lifetime milestone with their 2025 fundraising: it has raised over $150,000 for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital since the beginning of their partnership.

Each Phi Delta Epsilon chapter partners with a local CMN hospital and volunteers in fundraising events throughout the year, including bake sales and 5K races. Some chapters also host signature events, such as a Miracle Gala or an Anatomy Fashion Show.
In 2025, the FL Zeta Chapter at FSU and the FL Eta Chapter at UF raised a combined $26,579.92 for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. The Zeta chapter hosted its Stand for The Kids (SFTK) event in October, featuring obstacle courses, pumpkin painting, bouquet making, food trucks and more, and raised $11,576.92. The Eta chapter’s SFTK event, including a universe‑themed Anatomy Fashion Show, raised $15,003.
We are grateful for the partnerships we share with Phi Mu, Phi Delta Epsilon and our local chapters. The dedication of members reminds us of the powerful change we can create when we all come together for all kids.
