Harris Rosen, a beloved father, grandfather, and pillar of the Central Florida community, passed away peacefully in November at the age of 85, surrounded by family and loved ones. Rosen, an accomplished businessman and generous philanthropist, gave $12 million in 2019 to advance innovative brain tumor immunotherapy research and care at UF Health and to launch an unprecedented partnership for the development of novel brain tumor treatments.

In 2019, The University of Florida announced a $12 million gift from Orlando hotel magnate Harris Rosen and The Harris Rosen Foundation to advance innovative brain tumor immunotherapy research and care at UF Health and to launch an unprecedented partnership for the development of novel brain tumor treatments.

In memory of his son, Adam, Harris Rosen and The Harris Rosen Foundation’s transformative gift named the clinic where neuro-oncology patients receive the care they need. The Adam Michael Rosen Neuro-Oncology Laboratories are also named in his honor.
