Dance Marathon at Florida State University kicked off its 2022 fundraising ‘Seminole Strong.’

For the first time ever, DM at FSU hosted Miles for Miracles. Participants had the option to join a 5K race or a 1-mile roll, walk and run event. The 5K was capped off by Miracle Birthday pancake platters for participants. More than 125 runners participated in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.

Miles for Miracles was followed by this year’s Leave Your Legacy. Celebrating the participants who make CMN Hospitals’ fundraising possible, DM at FSU’s newest tradition raised $70,220 over two days. DM at FSU students symbolized their efforts by hitting the gong one time for every $100 raised.

Miles for Miracles and Leave Your Legacy lead to DM at FSU’s marquee spring event. The main event takes place from March 4-6.
