As the three largest events in our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals market, Dance Marathon programs continued with great momentum in making miracles For The Kids, against all odds.

During the 2019-2020 year, Dance Marathon at the University of Florida, Dance Marathon at Florida State University and OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University raised an incredible $4,586,980.06 for the kids at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. We are so thankful for their shared commitment to serving our local kids through fundraising and leadership development efforts, even in times of extraordinary uncertainty.
- Dance Marathon at the University of Florida: In its 26th year, this program hosted its first-ever virtual event and raised $2,526,418.24.
- Dance Marathon at Florida State University: In its 25th year, this program raised $1,941,368.54 for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital and the FSU College of Medicine.
- OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University: In its 7th year, this program also hosted its first-ever virtual event and raised $119,193.28.
We would like to also publicly recognize some of our largest donors – middle and high school programs! During the 2019-2020 year, nearly 40 programs, stewarded by OwlThon at FAU, Dance Marathon at FSU and Dance Marathon at UF raised an incredible $1,198,850.85 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. This is a 14 percent increase over 2018-2019 and the second year in a row these programs have surpassed a collective $1 million for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital!
