A significant population of patients have airway conditions that require an indirect video laryngoscopic view using the C-MAC blade. The blade is equipped with video technology to connect to monitors on each cart. The cart houses the scopes and blades and the monitor which displays the image of the patient’s anatomy during an intubation. The pediatric specific sizes are designed for smaller airways and other anatomical differences.
This equipment can be used for the pediatric cath lab and for procedures done by OR staff on the unit as needed, making it an important addition to our equipment inventory!
