Power Wheels

If your child is having surgery at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, they can now ride in style to the operating room in one of our new Power Wheels, funded by donations to CMN Hospitals!

These power cars allow patients to be transported to the operating room suite in lighthearted fashion, and help ease their fears along the way.

In addition to these cars, CMN donations also funded Fat Head decorations for pediatric operating rooms and light covers to help ease fear and anxiety for pediatric patients undergoing procedures or surgeries. These few changes in décor have helped patients to enjoy a more kid-friendly environment.

The family was referred to UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital because of the breadth of care available from our Turner Syndrome specialists.
