DM at UF, DM at FSU collect national awards

OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University, Dance Marathon at University of Florida and Dance Marathon at Florida State University attended the ninth annual Dance Marathon Leadership Conference in St. Louis July 19-21. In attendance were five student leaders from each team, along with hospital and university advisers from each program. Dance Marathon at UF and Dance Marathon at FSU both brought one of the 17 national awards:

Dance Marathon at UF: Best High School Dance Marathon (Palm Beach Central High School)

This is an inaugural award presented to DM at UF on a Facebook live event where they were able to give the students at Palm Beach Central High School recognition. Dance Marathon at FSU: Digital Media Award

The award recognizes a dance marathon organization that best utilizes digital media to bring the mission of their organization to life, whether it be to highlight a campaign, educate and engage their audiences, or tell a story.
