UF Medical Guild pledges $200K to UF Health

The University of Florida Medical Guild recently pledged $200,000 in support of the UF Health Palliative Care program.
During a ceremony honoring the recipients, the UF Medical Guild awarded grant funding for 14 nonprofit organizations and projects today to support community initiatives, totaling more than $55,000.
Through a gift of $250,000, the UF Medical Guild created an endowment for the Equal Access Clinic Network, a free medical service in the Gainesville community staffed entirely by medical, nursing, pharmacy, public health and dentistry students under the guidance of UF Health faculty.
