Dance Marathon At FSU

As the three largest events in our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals market, Dance Marathon programs continued with great momentum in making miracles For The Kids, against all odds.

Dance Marathon participants across the state of Florida who work to raise money for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital gathered in September for the sixth annual “For the Kids Shands Retreat.”

OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University, Dance Marathon at University of Florida and Dance Marathon at Florida State University attended the ninth annual Dance Marathon Leadership Conference in St. Louis July 19-21.

Two of our major fundraising partners, Dance Marathon at Florida State University and OwlThon at Florida Atlantic University held their marquee events earlier this spring.

Earlier this month, Dance Marathon at the University of Florida and Dance Marathon at Florida State University were honored with three awards at the Miracle Network Dance Marathon Leadership Conference.

Earlier this month, Dance Marathon programs at UF, FSU and FAU officially launched their online fundraising pages for this year’s campaign.

Two students from our partner Dance Marathon programs were recently presented the 2018 Miracle Network Dance Marathon Distinguished Leadership Award.

DM at FSU held another incredibly successful event on Feb. 24-25, raising $1,830,167.28, shattering their public goal of $1.7 million.

Representatives from Dance Marathon at FSU presented $715K check in support of UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital. Christopher Jolley, M.D., UF College of Medicine pediatric surgeon, accepts the check on the hospital’s behalf.
