Last month, Tallahassee celebrated the children served by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital with a downtown, block party-style event at the 2nd annual Miracles on Madison.
Our very own Amber Ferrell, whose child, Nate, is a patient at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, is part of the cast and shares what it’s like to raise a child with a rare disease.
Marshal was an osteosarcoma patient and CMN Ambassador at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital from 2014-2018, and used art in all its forms throughout his battle with the disease.
On Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more from every Blizzard Treat sold will be donated from participating Dairy Queen® locations in the Gainesville, Tallahassee and West Palm Beach areas to UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
