Earlier this summer, $43,958.60 of CMN Hospitals funds were used to purchase a flexible video neuro endoscope for our neurosurgery team.
This piece of equipment allows our neurosurgeons to offer minimally invasive treatment for certain cases of hydrocephalus, cysts and tumors beyond the reach of the rigid endoscopes they currently have. This is better for the patients and will enable us to grow our minimally invasive neurosurgery program.
