What do my CMN dollars do? | March 2018

Vital monitors on Units 44 and 45 purchased with CMN Hospitals funds.

When you donate to CMN Hospitals to support UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, your dollars make a big difference. They support important programs like Child Life and Arts in Medicine, provide seed money for research projects and purchase critically important equipment. This month, we are featuring some of the equipment that was purchased for Pediatric Units 44 and 45.

If you have been on Units 44 or 45 in the past few months, you may have noticed the brand-new vital monitors throughout these units.

These can be wheeled into patients’ rooms for regular checks of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc. What you may not have realized is that these monitors were all recently purchased with funds donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! $32,027 of CMN Hospitals donations were used to purchase 10 new vital monitors and stations for these pediatric units.
