Glen Farleigh Memorial | Electrophysiology Research Fund

Electrophysiology is a subspecialty of cardiology that focuses on understanding, diagnosing and treating heart rhythm problems or arrhythmias by studying the heart’s electrical activity and pathways.

A message from the Farleigh family —

Glen Farleigh“Glen Farleigh struggled with atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia for most of his life. When he was diagnosed 30 years ago, there was little expertise in the area of electrophysiology. He saw multiple specialists around the country over the years. For the last six years of his life he was cared for by a wonderful team of doctors at UF Health Shands Hospital. Due to the advanced and complex nature of his condition, doctors often used him as a case study during his treatment.

“Unfortunately, Glen lost his battle at the age of 66. This page has been created in his memory to assist with the advancement of research that will help save or elongate the lives of others suffering from these conditions.”
