The UF College of Medicine enters an exciting new chapter in our history as we chart our future with a revised curriculum and a renewed commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences for our learners. Our ambition to reach the top of American medical education depends on three specific priorities:
A new medical education facility that matches our premier program
Increased scholarship support for medical students, residents and fellows
Building faculty endowment to assure continued excellence
Shands Hospital for Children at UF
Shands Hospital for Children at UF is the state’s premier pediatric center where University of Florida pediatricians provide comprehensive care at the highest standards of quality and service for infants, children and adolescents. Your support enables us to sustain these innovative services and help children one step at a time.
The new pediatric emergency room at Shands Hospital for Children at UF is north central Florida’s first emergency room specifically geared toward kids. The calm, child-friendly environment generates positive energy, while additional treatment space and the latest in medical technology provide access to an expanded team of UF physicians and emergency-trained nurses. Support for the pediatric ER ensures children and their families receive the best care possible – now and in the future.
The Senior Recreation Center serves as an active focal point where seniors can socialize, access services, participate in fun and educational activities, volunteer and stay generally engaged with their peers and the broader community. This enhanced community connectedness has an immediate and significant impact on today’s seniors – and an ongoing impact on tomorrow’s need for long-term care. Your support keeps our community’s seniors healthy and engaged, and increases their quality of life.
