Spring Swamp Dash – Gettin’ Muddy for the Kids!

guyrunmudWhy just run a race when you can climb, jump, crawl and mud your way to pushing the boundaries of your own physical endurance? The Swamp Dash & Bash is the most challenging mud run around, with miles of challenging obstacles, and plenty of mud to push your limits. Swamp Dash & Bash is committed to raising money to support Shands Hospital for Children at UF, your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Every dollar raised leading up to the event by participants helps to provide the best care for children in our community. As you’re crawling through the mud, swinging by a rope and scaling a wall, think of the struggles and the obstacles of pediatric patients at Shands. Also reward yourself with our post-race bash, complete with live music and refreshments!

Join us for the second semiannual Gainesville Swamp Dash on April 21, 2012 at Rembert Farm in Alachua, Fla. It will be a 4 mile, 20 obstacle adventure mud run. There are a variety of options for you to register as a Swamp Dash participant. Participate as an individual or a team. ‘Just to Get Muddy’ (for fun) teams can have any number of participants. ‘Gettin’ Muddy to Win!’ (competing for awards) teams must have a minimum of 3 participants.

The first semiannual Gainesville Swamp Dash was held on November 12, 2011 and raised more than $23,000 with the help of 289 participants and 46 volunteers.  If you missed out in Fall, don’t let yourself miss out in Spring! Plus, great incentives are available for fundraisers that go above and beyond to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
