Shands Vista golf tourney raises $38,970 to prevent violence and mental illness in teens

Nearly 100 golfers participated in this year’s Cadillac Invitational at Haile Plantation Golf & Country Club on behalf of the Partners in Adolescent Lifestyle Support program at Shands Vista. The tournament raised approximately $38,000 for the program, and in addition, the Bosshardt Realty agents contributed a percentage of their closing profits collected throughout the year. For the past eight years, Carol Bosshardt and the agents have generously put aside a percentage of closing profits throughout the year plus held special events which have totaled more than $326,000 in donations to PALS. The tournament was attended by corporate sponsors, Bosshardt agents, physicians and professionals in the community and citizens who wanted to play a part in preventing violence, suicide and substance abuse amongst our youth.
